Dr. Pilhan Kim is an Associate Professor (Tenured) of Graduate School of Medical Science and Engineering (GSMSE) at Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST). At 2010, he joined KAIST as a tenure-track faculty. His Main research interest is the development of advanced in vivo cellular imaging technology based on custom-design real-time laser-scanning intravital microscopy and endomicroscopy. He has successfully achieved a systemic cellular-level visualization of various internal organs in preclinical animal model to investigate the complex pathophysiology of human diseases and develop novel therapeutics.
